From August1, 2020, children under 7 years old will be able to visit the Hermitage Museum free of charge

From August 1, 2020, children under 7 years old, regardless of citizenship, will be able to receive a free entrance ticket to visit the museum with routes without excursion.

 

This was reported by the press service of the Hermitage. The list of these routes is:

-Route № 1 around the Main Museum Complex (starting in the direction of the Jordan Staircase);

- Route № 2 around the Main Museum Complex (starting in the direction of the Church Staircase);

- Route around the General Staff building;

- Route around the Museum of the Imperial Porcelain Factory.

 

Reminds, that children under 7 years old can visit museum only with adult who has purchased an electronic ticket on the official site – tickets.hermitagemuseum.org. Before the start at the ticket office of museum, the accompanying person receives a free entrance ticket for the child. The cashier may ask for documents with the child's age – a birth certificate or passport.
