This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the director of the State Museum-Monument "St. Isaac's Cathedral" Yurii Mudrov. The total attendance of the museum has decreased tenfold.
“Our attendance has decreased compared to the pre-pandemic time. There are about ten times less visitors, ”Mudrov said.
Isaac's Colonnade opened on July 16, St. Isaac's Cathedral itself - on July 19, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood - on July 23. According to the director, 43,000 people visited St. Isaac's Cathedral in 11 days, and 5,000 people visited the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood in 4 days.
