Wedding day photo shoots in the Hermitage museum become free of charge

The new regulation was implemented on October 15.

Presently, it is allowed to have a photo shoot in the Hermitage on the day of the wedding without an extra fee. This is reported by the “St. Petersburg Diary” with reference to the head of the State Hermitage Museum Mikhail Piotrovsky. Five guests attending the wedding are allowed to accompany newlyweds into the museum.

As noted, a similar option existed before, but during the pandemic it had to be temporarily canceled. It is worth mentioning, that the Museum has recently resumed free admission for children under the age of 7 as well.
